Its actually not about us…

We know you are here to find out something about us, but we want to assure you it is not about us. Our focus is always on proving great results for YOU, our clients. But, you can check out our bios on the bottom of this page.

Our Approach

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. – Sun Tzu

Every case is unique to the person who is injured, and so it is to us as well. Because we are selective on the clients and cases we take, you are never just a file, or a number, or a name without a face. By knowing you well, we can serve you well. And we take every case as if it is going to trial. Most cases don’t, but by preparing this way we are able to obtain the best possible outcome for you.

Andrew Magwood

Attorney

I was born and raised in central California, where I met and married Rachelle. After serving in the US Coast Guard for seven years, and living in Los Angeles, Connecticut and Detroit, I returned to my new “home state” and finished college at Eastern Connecticut State University, then law school at the University of Connecticut. I have worked in the insurance industry, and two large law firms before opening my own practice over a decade ago.

I love watching baseball and hockey (live, at any level), (sorry, I don’t have a favorite team), fishing & bow-hunting.

Rachelle Magwood

Paralegal

I was born in beautiful Monterey County, California, and lived all over central California and the Central Coast, until I met and married Andrew. We then started our family, and I attended college in Connecticut. My experience is in real estate, estate planning, litigation and bankruptcy.

I love New England. I love anything outdoors – hiking, kayaking, biking around Nantucket, bow-hunting – and have climbed Mt. Washington three times. But more than that, I love my family!
